Kentucky Gets No. 7 Sr Keldon Johnson

ESPN No. 7 ranked high school senior Keldon Johnson said he will make his college decision during the upcoming Early Signing Period from November 8-15.

He is down to Kentucky, Texas, Maryland, and NC State.

“I’d say I’m about 95 percent sure I know where I want to go,” Johnson told USA Today. “Most likely I’ll get it over with. I just have to talk with my family and make sure they’re OK with it.”

“I just feel like if I pretty much know where I want to go then what[’s] the point in waiting,” added Johnson.

The 6-6 swingman out of Oak Hill Academy (VA) led his Nike EYBL Boo Williams team in scoring and rebounding this summer, averaging 20.7 points and 8.5 boards.

He also averaged a whopping 25.2 points in the Hampton, VA leg of the EYBL, leading his team to a perfect 4-0 record.

Johnson, who over the summer transferred from Huntington Prep (WVA) to Oak Hill for his senior season, said he prides himself on his complete game.

“I play hard on both ends. Defense. Offense,” Johnson told D1circuit. “I rebound. I score. I can do it all.”

In a college program Johnson said he’s looking for a school which can get him to the NBA.

According to according to 247Sports’, Kentucky is the favorite to land Johnson.

Stay tuned.
