Outspoken LaVar Ball said that Cavaliers superstar LeBron is coming to the Los Angeles Lakers.
“Let me tell you this, LeBron is coming to L.A,” Ball told ClutchPoints. “What’s in Cleveland? You want to be a superstar, man. Superstar franchise.”
“He’s going to say, ‘You know what? I went to Miami. Won a championship. Brought one back to my hometown. I’m the only one to go to three different places and bring a championship,’” Ball added.
Ball also said that once he gets to the Lakers, LeBron will love playing with his star point guard son Lonzo, the No. 2 pick in the 2017 Draft.
“He is going to fall in love with Lonzo so much on the way that he play,” said LaVar. “They both understand the game. “You do not give Lonzo Ball the best player in the game and don’t think they going to win!”
Lonzo Ball, a 6-6 point guard, led the nation in assists this season, averaging 14.7 points, 7.6 assists, and 6.1 rebounds for UCLA, while guiding the Bruins to a 31-5 record (15-3 Pac-12) and the NCAA Tournament’s Sweet 16.
“He’s got range that can change the geometry of an offense, he can bend the pace of the game to his own whims, and he makes the game easier for everyone else on the floor,” wrote SI.com’s Andrew Sharp of Ball. “That’s why Ball is the most interesting player in the draft.”
“The ceiling is a superstar that the NBA has never really seen before,” Sharp added.
The 6-8, 250-pound James averaged 26.4 point, 8.7 assists and 8.6 rebounds this season, leading the Cavs to NBA Finals, losing to the Warriors in 5 games.
