Lakers’ Nick Young Forgives D'Angelo Russell

Los Angeles Laker Nick Young has decided to bury the hatchet with teammate D’Angelo Russell, who posted a video of Young talking about picking up women late last season.

The embarrassing video helped lead to Young’s public breakup with his fiancé, rapper Iggy Azalea.

But now Young just wants to move on.

“We’re teammates,” Young said to the LA Daily News of Russell. “It’s been so long, so it’s kind of old.”

“We’ve already been working it out,” added Young. “It is what it is. I can’t be mad forever.”

Young, a 6-7 guard/forward out of USC has averaged 11.8 points in nine NBA seasons with the Wizards, Clippers, Sixers, and Lakers.

Russell, a 6-5 guard out of Ohio State, was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft.

He averaged 13.2 points, 3.3 assists, and 3.4 rebounds this season as a rookie.
