The NBA D-league’s Reno Bighorns have unveiled their new logo.
The new designs now incorporate the colors of the Sacramento Kings, who bought a majority stake in the Bighorns back in October.
The team’s previous green, blue, and tan has been replaced with the Kings’ purple, gray and black.
“The new primary logo, which features Nevada’s state animal, has been redesigned with a purple outline,” according to dleague.nba.com. “A crown now will sit atop the ‘I’ symbolizing a strong partnership with the Kings. The Kings crown reflects the tradition of the team dating back to the team’s origins.”
The Kings are now the 15th NBA team to own and operate its NBA D-League affiliate.
This season, the Bighorns were led by Lamar Patterson (Pitt), who averaged 24.1 points a game.
