Ohio State Gets No. 59 Jr Jaedon LeDee

Ohio State Gets No. 59 Jr Jaedon LeDee

ESPN No. 59 ranked high school junior Jaedon LeDee has committed to Ohio State.   The 6-8 forward out of Kinkaid School (Houston, TX) averaged 15.1 points and 8.2 rebounds this summer for Texas Pro on the Adidas Gauntlet circuit.   "It just had a combination of everything we were looking for," LeDee told ESPN of the Buckeyes. "It was just the right step for my family and I, and the next step."   "[OSU has] a lot of things, from basketball to the alumni base that can take care of you after basketball,” LeDee added. “"I want to come in and have an immediate impact right away, using my versatility.”   Ohio State is getting an all-around player in LeDee.   “He’s a pure scorer, both as a shooter and a slasher, as well as a physical and tenacious rebounder,” wrote Land-Grant Holy Land’s Patrick Mayhorn. “He’s very similar in size to former Michigan State star and NBA All-Star Draymond Green, though LeDee is far more athletic and dangerous with the ball than Green was in East Lansing.”   “LeDee’s has a knack for swatting shots, so he’ll be a welcome addition to [OSU], likely at power forward,” Mayhorn added.   The Buckeyes beat out the likes of UCLA, Oklahoma, Cal, Houston, Baylor, and LSU to land LeDee.     For more basketball news go to http://www.blacktoptv.com/
