ESPN No. 16 ranked high school junior point guard Jaelen House has committed to Arizona State.
The 6-0 floor general is averaging 19.6 points, 4.2 assists, 5.8 rebounds, and a whopping 6.7 steals for Shadow Mountain HS (AZ) this season.
Last year House led the school to the state championship.
He is the son of former NBA player and Arizona State great Eddie House, and nephew of ex-NBA point guard Mike Bibby, who is now his head coach at Shadow Mountain.
“I committed because I love the coaching staff and I feel like this is a place where I will fit in and be able to play my game,” House told 247Sports of the Sun Devils. “On the plus side it’s not too bad that I get stay home.”
247Sports analyst Josh Gershon thinks House is one of the best point guards on the west coast
“He has a terrific combination of quickness, handle, shooting, scoring and vision,” said Gershon. “He plays hard and uses his quick feet and hands on defense. He’s made consistent strides throughout his high school career and still has plenty of upside moving forward.”
House is Arizona State’s first recruit in the 2019 class.
